A Vintage Makeover
The aim was to create a space, that spoke true to the simplicity of the original design.
This project involved updating an original 1930’s semi by renovating the original bathroom and kitchen/dining area and building a new balcony, rumpus room, second bathroom and laundry with the goal of creating a light-filled modern living space while staying true to the simplicity of the original design.

By incorporating a natural soft colour scheme, and high-quality finishes, the space exudes an inviting and cozy ambience.
New Flooring of spotted gum creates a continuous flow throughout the house
The large sliding doors in the lounge, dining and kitchen area provide a seamless transition to the garden allowing for plenty of natural light
V-joint ceilings in the lounge and bathrooms
The kitchen features a large stainless steel bench with an integrated double sink, American oak cabinetry with a stone island bench
The Master bedroom has been enlarged to accommodate an ensuite bathroom
A new private study/fourth bedroom has been created
Outside features a landscaped garden with paved entertaining area and undercover BBQ space along with a new garage

“We first became aware of MATTBUILD Group when they completed a project across the road.
