For our client, the original brief was to upsize the existing house by extending out the back and side whilst also renovating the home to create a spacious feel while still maintaining its family look.
To bring our clients vision to life, we first extended the lower ground floor. This allowed us to make room for a large kitchen area. In addition to this, the extension allowed for us to create the new dining and lounge room areas.
Once the extension framework phase was complete on the lower ground floor we could then commence the side extension for the master bedroom and ensuite. Following the new roof making the house water tight we could concentrate on the renovation works throughout the existing part of the house. This included engineered timber flooring throughout the house, ducted AC and then the landscaper could work his magic in the backyard.
It’s always great to revamp another home in the Sutherland Shire! The key standout feature of this renovation would have to be the extremely generous kitchen living area. The island stone top bench, in conjunction with dark timber and navy cupboards creates an open and inviting space to sit and relax.
