Once again, we were lucky enough to work alongside clients that had great style and knew what they wanted in their home. This really helped us deliver the vision of our clients.
The brief was to renovate the house to ensure there could be a large spacious dining and entertaining area. Our clients also requested that we add a master bedroom and an ensuite.
This home extension & renovation was to help recreate the home by changing and creating a new feel for the house. By utilising space and working closely alongside our clients we were able to accomplish a fantastic end result.
With years of building experience, we spend time thoroughly understanding design briefs. We began by extending off the back of the house with the private master bedroom and ensuite on the lower ground floor. On the ground floor we were able to extend and create an open living area that flows well into the positioned kitchen. This kitchen looks over a large 12 seat dining room table, that fits comfortably. This offers sublime views of the valley and collects the afternoon sunset.
To top it all off, outside the bifold doors there is an alfresco area that is protected from the wind and is perfect for enjoying the afternoon sun. We replaced the existing cement roof tiles with the slate look flat roof tiles. By also rendering the outside of the house and cladding the gable ends of the roof we were able to really revive and modernised the exterior of this house.
