A truly inspiring architectural home in Rozelle, Sydney.
The team here at MattBuild Group, demolished, cleared and constructed a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home, complete with a pool and terrace, to maximise the use of land and preserve family privacy. High-spec internal and external finishes were installed with the help of specialised sub-trades, and the foundations set at a lower level. Through a close working relationship with the designer, Spec Design Studio, we achieved the client’s vision and created a stunning family home.
IT’S ALL IN THE DETAILS
Twin Peaks features a Holistic design approach, emphasising the contrast between materials.
- Hardwood timber stair design
- Spotted Gum timber at the entrance area, aligning to the external porch ceiling
- Burnished concrete slab
- Speckle render is used to create visual interest as the sun moves over it throughout the day
- Skylights on either side of the kitchen allow the stove and bench areas beneath to be bathed in natural light
- A crazy pave driveway, concrete stairs and a black steel blade front fence all give the front of the home a first-class look
